I thought you may be interested to know that the fire-starter photo (see http://69.10.163.110/tempest/fire_starter.htm)  was NOT taken by a Wyoming fire fighter - in fact it was not even taken in the USA!!

It was taken on 16 January 2003 in Canberra, Australia (Canberra is the capital of Australia and has a population of about 300,000 people) and the smoke in the sky was from intense fires that had been burning for almost a week in inaccessible mountain areas to the west of the city.  Less than two days after this photo was taken parts of the city of Canberra were engulfed by a firestorm in which four people died and more than 500 homes were destroyed.
