Vera's Victorian Variety

Hand Crafted Accessories in the Victorian Style

Reproductions for Reenactors & Living Historians

Welcome to Miss Vera's Victorian Variety; a wonderful collection of reproduction Victorian era lady's accessories. Beautiful pieces to enhance the period look of ladies who enjoy the hobby of living history.

Based in the beautiful mountains of Trinity County in Northern California, Miss Vera is a veteran Reenactor of the Civil War, Rendezvous, Gold Rush and Old West eras of American history. She discovered that quality reproduction accessories for ladies were in short supply at various sutlers and shops. Those available items were made from plastic, egad! She vowed to find a source of Victorian era items made using the same techniques and processes used in the 19th century.

The lovely island of Bali, Indonesia is where she found Sang Ketut Wirata, a skilled craftsman who could reproduce these lovely items. His family uses techniques and tools passed down from generation to generation and take great pride in the quality of their craftsmanship.

Bringing her cherished heirlooms as patterns, Ketut was able to recreate them using time-honored techniques. These items are identical to the originals with one exception; bone is used instead of ivory. Ivory is not legal or ethical to use in these times.

Now, she is ready to share these lovely items with you. This site is specifically for wholesale sales to Sutler's, shops and suppliers. For folks interested in retail sales, please see Miss Vera's store on Ebay (currently in development).

Please peruse our wares and be prepared to be impressed. Wares must be purchased in packages of 10 or more to insure wholesale prices. Please see our ordering page for more information on pricing and shipping.
