96.27 Dress of black silk with empire waist and princess seams styled with a train. Bodice opens left-front with hook & eye closure. Front square yoke filled with gathered silk & black beaded tape & trim. Jet bead trim down front opening to empire waist & around waist. Watch pocket on left front below waistline. Styled with false overskirt, split in front with rounded hem trimmed with soutache braid. Short sleeves with soutache trim at shoulders. Stiffened cord inset into hemline. Worn by Mrs. Berger, a Teacher at Canyon Creek School. |

20.06 Evening dress of black lace, sleeveless, with asymetrical dropped waist. Front is draped & gathered at left waist. Flared flounce below waistseam. Pink silk lining overlaid with sheer black organdy, lining has sweetheart neckline. Bright pink roses at waistline and at right shoulder. Worn by Senta Schlichting Moore in 1928 at her husband's graduation from dental college. Senta stated that she spent her entire week's salary as a Secretary ($30) for this gown. 84.03.L Evening dress of pale green cotton voile with jaquard stripes and overskirt of ecru net. 2" wide bobbin lace at neckline and net ruffle on sleeves. Silver bead trim at neckline, sleeves and hem. 2 inch wide pale green satin ribbon sash at waist line, with ribbon ends extending to hem. Hook & eye closures down back.
