I
am a California native: born & raised in the Golden State. I've been
here for forty-something years. I come from big, healthy Irish-Scot peasant
stock, and I'm a big, healthy girl with red hair, green eyes, & chubby thighs.
I enjoy a mountain lifestyle in the most beautiful place in Northern California.
I have a lovely daughter at home and a wild & crazy son who is out in the
world seeking his fortune. I also share my home with an old dog, two cats,
a family of skunks (under the house) and a frog (lives in swamp cooler).
My formative years were marked by a love of theatre. I was in several High School and Community Theatre productions-both on stage as actress and behind the scenes as costumer. I studied theatre arts at Moorpark College and attended the Pacific Conservatory of Performing Arts. My area of study was costume & set design. After leaving the PCPA, I worked as a Costumer and Costume Designer at various live theatres in California.
I enjoyed the work very much, but after getting married and having children, I needed to stop moving around so often. I worked in the construction trades then switched to restaurant work. When the kids were old enough I attended a trade school to study computer operations.
I work at the Jake Jackson Museum, and I love my work. I moonlight part-time with my own business, Sue's Good Company, helping other folks get their businesses on the web. My spare time is spent as a Living History Reenactor in the eras of the Old West and the American Civil War. I always did love to play dress-up...
I have many hobbies. Playing with my computer. Fishing. Camping. Gold Rush & Civil War History. Sewing. Gardening. Driving down any dirt road I haven't yet traveled.
