Chapeau du Jardin (literally, "Garden Hat"). These were popular hats for summer wear, in the garden or at the seaside. They always dipped down in the front and rear while the sides bowed up. This one is made from straw chip, and trimmed with a wreath of flowers around the crown, long flowing ribbons down the back and with a veil of lace attached inside the edge of the brim
