I would write a lot more. Lincoln’s
wife is not much taller than Meri is but she has a big head.
And Abraham is real nice, tall and good man but different clothes would
be good for him. I also want to
write about our general in a letter, he is in charge of the whole Potomac army.
I have seen the general often, the Potomac army is the biggest of them
all.
I hope this letter will find you all well, that is my dearest hope.
