 David vs. Goliath I have been fighting with State Farm Insurance Company in Redding California since September 3, 1992. This fight has been a victory where many people thought it could not be accomplished against such a large corporation. I have been in front of the State Farm offices with my signs for over 1875 days! This protest against State Farm has been most effective beyond all imagination. I have had several thousand people over this period of time to pledge to boycott State Farm Insurance here in Northern California. It is time for the people of California to unite and send a message to State Farm, in our state and nationwide, that we are tired of Bloomington Illinois (State Farm home office) dictating to state insurance commissioners, politicians and other insurance companies setting rates, and making laws as they see fit. State Farm spends millions of dollars that policy holders pay out from their pockets to satisfy the high salaries of insurance executives and officers of State Farm Insurance Company and Insurance Commissioners of the state of California, etc. It is time for we the people that are tired of insurance dictators to stand up for our rights and stop the bloodsuckers from bleeding all of us dry. I believe that if enough people will protest and boycott State Farm Insurance by cancellation of policies, we can put a stop to what is going on. I would like to see 100,000 policies in California alone cancelled. |

claim? Has State Farm lied to you? Write to me and give me a short history of your story. What I have done here in California can be done in your state if you are willing to fight. I estimate there has been over 5,000 people joining me in the protest and doing what I am asking you to do. I have been in newspapers, Associated Press, and numerous times on local television. My life has been threatened several times. State Farm employees have harassed my wife and me, warning me to get out of town and stop what I am doing. Several attempts were made to run me over with their automobiles (police reports available). State Farm on numerous occasions has called the Redding Police to make me take my sign and get out, but to no avail. This is because I am right. I have stood for over 1875 days in front of State Farm under a large oak tree, which provides shade in the 100+-degree summer heat. State Farm tried to purchase this tree in an attempt to cut the tree down and remove our only source of shade. The owner refused them. This is a request for you to air your complaint to me. Join me and make it a complaint of all the people. Send no money at all! I have carried on this fight using only my Social Security income. Join me in our fight! Let's make it nationwide! We can be heard! |
