The years have taught me many things
But none so sure as this:
That shelter, solace, joy and strength
are always where God is.
So now when hope and courage fail,
and only fear is strong,
my heart will sing as in the past
An unforgotten song.
God is my refuge and my strength
I will not be afraid,
and though the night might be wild and dark
I'll meet it undismayed.
" So do not fear, for I am with you;
do not be dismayed, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you and help you;
I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. "
