3:28

Did you know that Luther inserted a word into the Bible?

Specifically, he added the word "alone" in Romans 3:28. See for yourself.

Romans, Luther's Bible:

[Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith alone without the deeds of the law.]

See this German/English Dictionary translating "allein" to "alone":

Compare "allein" with verse 3.29:

[Is he the God of the Jews only?]

Also, compare "allein" in James, 2:24:

[Ye see then how that by works a man is justified, and not by faith only.]

Go ahead, check your Bible. See if the word "alone" is in Romans 3:28.
