Here’s another dark whole,

I have buried myself in,

Nowhere to run or hide,

Dark empty spaces,

Nothing can fill,

For the darkness,

Has taken me away.

I try to see the light,

But it just won’t shine,

For my mind is under a spell,

Depression so big,

All I do seems wrong,

Where and when will it stop?

They try to make me smile,

They try with all their might,

But why, oh why, won’t anything work,

For the depression’s so big,

There are no answers now,

I try to break free but nothing works,

Help me I pray for a day of light tonight.
