And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring;Men's hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken.And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.Luke 21:25-27.

The above text tells that there shall be signs “signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars."In the last few years we have had signs in the Moon, in that it had the closest approach to the earth, and a blood red Moon appeared over Jerusalem, on September 26, 1996.This could certainly be a warning to Jerusalem that war was coming unless they repent and follow the Creator who shed His blood on the cross for their sins. 

“This is what the LORD Almighty says: "Look! Disaster is spreading from nation to nation; a mighty storm is rising from the ends of the earth.”Jeremiah 25:32, NIV. 

There have been so many sun storms in the last few years that they have gone off the charts, in July of 1999, Stan & Holly Deyo wrote: “. . .The Sun has been increasingly active over the last month. On the 27th of June this year, the solar sunspot number was so high (prematurely) and there were so many "Sigma" filaments connecting across the Solar equator that we had to let you know our concern. Although the probability of an immediate CME danger is lessened, the Sun is still VERY active on the back side. That region will rotate around to us again in less than three weeks.

We have observed that these huge solar eruptions (CMEs) are causing extremelethargy and irritability in humans and animal within 3 to 4 days of the eruption on the Sun. If this continues to worsen and to irritate people, then we may see that Nostradamus' reference to the "great king of fright" was in reference to the Sun and a large CME. Certainly, if these magnetic effects continue to irritate folks, war may be the eventual result.... with the attending rise to power of the antichrist of this age....

The Bible does say at around the end of this age there will be an energy increase from the Sun that will fry trees, grass and people and will kill fish in the seas for a short time... It states that people will search for caves and rocks to shield them from the direct radiation that will hit us... Is this the time? Does the approach of this Comet Lee herald such an event?”

There will also be signs in the Stars and I remember looking out the night before it was supposed to be grand and seeing what is pictured here of Comet Hyakutake right over my head, and it was breath taking as it was clear across the sky.The next night you could hardly see it, as it had changed position from the night before.Comets have always been signs in the sky of coming world tribulation.Of course what this all foretells is the coming of the Seven Last Plagues, spoken of in Revelation 16, and the drops of these plagues are already falling on this world.

A rundown of the plagues [Revelation 16] is interesting to see what is already happening.The first is on the land and sores break out, there are already diseases such as AIDS, Ebola, Mad Cow, flesh eating bacteria, and more that are certainly plagues.The second is on the oceans, and already there are sections of the sea that are dead, and this one tells us that, “every living thing in the sea died.”The third has not even started yet, but it will be terrible for those who worship the beast, for they will drink blood.The fourth we already see in all that is going on with the sun, and some are being scorched already.

The fifth is aimed at the beast, and would be aimed at a certain group identified as the beast in the Bible.Recently there have been many news stories of the sexual crimes of priests, and this would qualify as a “kingdom full of darkness.”The sixth plague is quite symbolic, the three evil frog spirits, are evil spirits that come out of mouth of dragon (Satan), and work miracles, and gather the world for the great battle “on the great day of God Almighty.”The battle of Armageddon for the most part is spiritual rather than literal, although there will be some literal battles also, in that under the sixth plague the nuclear is unleashed, and this started with Chernobyl. There have already been threats to nuke Los Angeles by China, some terrorist groups we are told have small nukes around the United States ready for use when they receive the signal.We could have a beautiful garden and not be able to eat from it, as it would be radioactive.

The seventh plague is the Second Coming of the True Jesus Christ, and all the nations collapsed, and the huge hundred pound hailstones fall upon men, but men repent not.Now all of this sounds quite horrible, and many ask why this is allowed.The main reason is freedom, our Creator made us free moral agents, and we were free to chose evil, and Satan did go look in the black hole, and became evil.In this battle he had to be allowed to demonstrate to the whole on-looking universe the results of sin and rebellion, and the natural consequences of this rebellion.The Bible itself tells us how Satan himself will die in Ezekiel 28:18-19, which will take place after the 1000 years this earth rests, and then the Executive Judgment will take place.”

“Thou hast defiled thy sanctuaries by the multitude of thine iniquities, by the iniquity of thy traffick; therefore will I bring forth a fire from the midst of thee, it shall devour thee, and I will bring thee to ashes upon the earth in the sight of all them that behold thee.All they that know thee among the people shall be astonished at thee: thou shalt be a terror, and never shalt thou be any more.”Ezekiel 28:18-19.

Starting with Isaiah and through the rest of the Old Testament prophets they all speak of the end of the world, the time in which we are now living, as “the day of the LORD,” or “in that Day.” 

There are many places in the Old Testament that tell us what the earth will look like “in that day.”Jeremiah 4:23-26.“I beheld the earth, and, lo, it was without form, and void; and the heavens, and they had no light. I beheld the mountains, and, lo, they trembled, and all the hills moved lightly.I beheld, and, lo, there was no man, and all the birds of the heavens were fled. I beheld, and, lo, the fruitful place was a wilderness, and all the cities thereof were broken down at the presence of the LORD, and by his fierce anger.”

In the Bible text at the heading of this document, it uses the word “perplexity,” which word tells us that the people living at this time look around with perplexity as there is no where to go, no where to turn, there is no remedy.“And the slain of the LORD shall be at that day from one end of the earth even unto the other end of the earth: they shall not be lamented, neither gathered, nor buried; they shall be dung upon the ground.”Jeremiah 25:33.For those who teach that there will be a Millennial Kingdom on this earth, these texts say otherwise.

The reason given in the Bible for Jesus Christ coming back to earth, is given in Revelation 11:18 “And the nations were angry, and thy wrath is come, and the time of the dead, that they should be judged, and that thou shouldest give reward unto thy servants the prophets, and to the saints, and them that fear thy name, small and great; and shouldest destroy them which destroy the earth.”What generation has come before that is in the position to “destroy the earth,” except the current generation and the threat of nuclear, biological, and plagues.

In the month of May 2002, there will be many signs and portents in the sky, with major planets lined up in the western sky, with oppositions and squares creating adverse pressure on planet earth.On May 5, 2002, Pluto 16° in Sagittarius is in opposition to Mars at 15° Gemini, along with Saturn 13°, Venus 12° and Mercury 6° all in Gemini.Then on May 26, 2002 there is an opposition of Planet Pluto 16° in Sagittarius to Saturn 16° in Gemini.Then there is another opposition of the Moon at 2° Sagittarius to the Sun at 4° and Mercury at 6° of Gemini.Square to all these oppositions are the planets Neptune 10° and Uranus 28° of Aquarius.These are all fire and air signs; so for the next year look for fires, bombs, volcanic eruptions, biological warfare, and anything to do with these elements.This could set off a major World War III, and the fulfillment of the prophecies listed in this document.

“Behold, the day of the LORD cometh, cruel both with wrath and fierce anger, to lay the land desolate: and he shall destroy the sinners thereof out of it.For the stars of heaven and the constellations thereof shall not give their light: the sun shall be darkened in his going forth, and the moon shall not cause her light to shine.And I will punish the world for their evil, and the wicked for their iniquity; and I will cause the arrogancy of the proud to cease, and will lay low the haughtiness of the terrible.”Isaiah 13:9-11.In another text, we find some of the same ideas.“The sun and the moon shall be darkened, and the stars shall withdraw their shining.”Joel 3:15.
