| 1260 Days | "The periods here mentioned--"forty and two months," and "a thousand two hundred and threescore days"--are the same, alike representing the time in which the church of Christ was to suffer oppression from Rome. The 1260 years of papal supremacy began in A.D. 538, and would therefore terminate in 1798." Great Controversy 266. |
| 1290 Days | "And from the time that the daily *|sacrifice|
shall be taken away, and the abomination that maketh desolate set up, there
shall be a thousand two hundred and ninety days." Daniel 12:11.
This text shows that there is a time period before the "abomination that maketh desolate" is set up. Therefore it would be before A.D. 538 when the Papal supremacy began. The year 508 A.D. which is 30 year prior an event did take place that lead to the setting up of the Papacy. Clovis was the First Catholic Prince. Read Daniel and the Revelation, pages 323-330. Both the 1260 and the 1290 terminated together in 1798. *The
word sacrifice was added.

"One week ago, last Sabbath, we had
a very interesting meeting. Brother Hewit from Dead River was there. He
came with a message to the effect that the destruction of the wicked and
the sleep of the dead was an abomination within a shut door that a woman
Jezebel, a prophetess had brought in and he believed that I was that woman,
Jezebel. We told him of some of his errors in the past, that
the 1335 days were ended and numerous errors of his. It had but little
effect. His darkness was felt upon the meeting and it dragged.
"I felt that I must say a few words. In the name of Jesus, I got up and in about five minutes the meeting changed. Everyone felt it at the same instant. Every countenance was lighted up. The presence of God filled the place. Brother Hewit dropped upon his knees and began to cry and pray. I was taken off in vision and saw much that I cannot write. It had a great effect upon Brother Hewit. He confessed it was of God and was humbled in the dust. He has been writing ever since that meeting, and is now writing from the same table renouncing all his errors that he has advanced. I believe God is bringing him up and he is calculated to do good, if God moves through him." Manuscript Releases, volume 16, 207–209. The 1335 prophecy is "spoken of in immediate connection with the 1290 years." Daniel 12:12, "Blessed is he that waiteth, and cometh to the thousand three hundred and five and thirty days." Since it was connected to the 1290 it would have the same starting date, which would be 508, which would take us to 1843. There was a great blessing for those who lived at that time, as the prophecies of Daniel had fulfillment in the great proclamation of the Coming of Christ. Thus came to an end the four great prophetic periods, the 2300, 1260, 1290 and 1335. "And sware by him that liveth for ever and ever, who created heaven, and the things that therein are, and the earth, and the things that therein are, and the sea, and the things which are therein, that there should be time no longer." Revelation 10:6 |
| Time of the End - 1798 |
"The message itself sheds light as to the time when this movement is to
take place. It is declared to be a part of the 'everlasting gospel;' and
it announces the opening of the judgment. The message of salvation has
been preached in all ages; but this message is a part of the gospel which
could be proclaimed only in the last days, for only then would it be true
that the hour of judgment had come. The prophecies present a succession
of events leading down to the opening of the judgment. This is especially
true of the book of Daniel. But that part of his prophecy which
related to the last days, Daniel was bidden to close up and seal 'to
the time of the end.' Not till we reach this time could a message concerning
the judgment be proclaimed, based on the fulfillment of these prophecies.
But at the time of the end, says the prophet, 'many shall run to and fro,
and knowledge shall be increased.' Daniel 12:4." The Great Controversy,

"Daniel stood in his lot to bear his testimony which was sealed until the time of the end, when the first angel's message should be proclaimed to our world. These matters are of infinite importance in these last days; but while 'many shall be purified, and made white, and tried,' 'the wicked shall do wickedly: and none of the wicked shall understand.' How true this is! Sin is the transgression of the law of God; and those who will not accept the light in regard to the law of God will not understand the proclamation of the first, second, and third angel's messages. "I have been shown that our disappointment in 1844 was not because of
failure in the reckoning of prophetic periods, but in the events to
take place. The earth was believed to be the sanctuary. But the sanctuary
which was to be cleansed at the end of the prophetic periods was
the heavenly sanctuary and not the earth as we all supposed. The Saviour
did enter the Most Holy Place in 1844 to cleanse the sanctuary and the
investigative judgment had commenced for the dead. I have been repeatedly
urged to accept the different periods of time proclaimed for the Lord to
come. I have ever had one testimony to bear: The Lord will not come at
that period, and you are weakening the faith of even Adventists, and fastening
the world in their unbelief. There have been plainly set before me events
of great and thrilling interest, which must transpire before Christ
will come. Satan will move mightily from beneath, and will delude the world,
while the Lord God Omnipotent will move from above and prepare a people
to stand in the great day of His wrath. 10 Manuscript Release,

The preaching of a definite time for the judgment, in the giving of the first message, was ordered by God. The computation of the prophetic periods on which that message was based, placing the close of the 2300 days in the autumn of 1844, stands without impeachment. The repeated efforts to find new dates for the beginning and close of the prophetic periods, and the unsound reasoning necessary to sustain these positions, not only lead minds away from the present truth, but throw contempt upon all efforts to explain the prophecies. The more frequently a definite time is set for the second advent, and the more widely it is taught, the better it suits the purposes of Satan. After the time has passed, he excites ridicule and contempt of its advocates, and thus casts reproach upon the great advent movement of 1843 and 1844. Those who persist in this error will at last fix upon a date too far in the future for the coming of Christ. Thus they will be led to rest in a false security, and many will not be undeceived until it is too late. Great Controversy 457. |

The Loud Cry started
with the 1888 Message, and was cut short due to the apostasy and unbelief.
It started again with the Fourth Angel joining the Third in 1988.
The Feast of Trumpets begins a 10 day and/or 10 year period, which ended
in 1998, after which Revelation 19:15, He comes to strike down the
nations. Many events have taken place in this 10 year time

and the execution of the judgment on the wicked, which started in earnest
on September 11, 2001.
"But the time to receive the mark of the beast, as designated in prophecy, has not yet come. The testing time has not yet come. There are true Christians in every church, not excepting the Roman Catholic communion. None are condemned until they have had the light and have seen the obligation of the fourth commandment. But when the decree shall go forth enforcing the counterfeit Sabbath, and when the loud cry of the third angel shall warn men against the worship of the beast and his image, the line will be clearly drawn between the false and the true. Then those who still continue in transgression will receive the mark of the beast in their foreheads or in their hands." Bible Training School, February 1, 1913. The time of test is just upon us, for the loud cry of the third angel has already begun in the revelation of the righteousness of Christ, the sin-pardoning Redeemer. For it is the work of every one to whom the message of warning has come, to lift up Jesus, to present him to the world as revealed in types, as shadowed in symbols, as manifested in the revelations of the prophets, as unveiled in the lessons given to his disciples and in the wonderful miracles wrought for the sons of men. Seventh Seal Opened - 1988 Righteousness by Faith Message Rejected Again When the Seventh Trumpet blew, the Seventh Seal was opened. The Judgment of the Living began on about Yom Kippur 1988, 100 years after the 1888 rejection of the righteousness by Faith Message. The Fourth Angel joined the first Three, after which the Fifth Angel began to work, and lastly the Seventh Angel will thrust in his sickle into the earth. The Third Woe the Nuclear, Isaiah 24 will all be fulfilled, then Jesus will come. |
