Closely tied to the Sabbath-Sunday issue is the mark of the beast and his number. No end-time instruction would be complete without a discussion of the forbidden 666 number of Revelation.  It is not a doctrine of any church, for 666 has nothing to do with salvation and everything to do with being cursed. It represents Satan's control through his henchman over the very air we breathe and thoughts we think.  It is the all powerful union of church, the state (government), politics, and money, and at its head one particular church monarch. In contrast to the subtlety and secret frauds of many of Satan's other strategies, this one will be done in the open. The whole world will be aware of this event and most will eagerly participate. The deception here is that it appears beneficent on the surface, but underneath is the diabolical machinery of hell. What is it? Where does it come from? How does it work?

ORIGIN OF THE MARK AND NUMBER:

        The late author Roy Allen Anderson provides us with information on the very surprising origins of "666." The next few pages contain excerpts from his book on the Revelation of John.

        And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of  the  beast should both speak,  and cause that as many as would not  worship  the  image of the beast should be killed.  And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond,  TO  RECEIVE A MARK IN THEIR RIGHT HAND, OR IN THEIR FOREHEADS:  And that NO MAN MIGHT BUY OR SELL, SAVE HE THAT HAD THE  MARK, OR THE NAME OF THE BEAST, OR THE NUMBER OF HIS NAME.  Here is wisdom.  Let him that hath understanding count THE NUMBER OF THE BEAST:   FOR IT IS THE NUMBER OF A MAN;  AND HIS NUMBER IS SIX HUNDRED THREESCORE AND SIX.  Rev. 13:15-18

        THIS MYSTIC NUMBER 666 REPRESENTS A SYSTEM, AS WELL AS AN INDIVIDUAL MAN.   The dragon, or the serpent -paganism - gave the beast "his power, and his seat [or throne], and great authority."  Revelation 13:2.  Paganism is largely a religion of nature worship, the sun and the moon being prominent deities;  the sun is usually the male deity and the moon  often  the  female deity.  In ancient mythology the serpent was universally the symbol of the sun. Sun worship and serpent worship began side by side, the sun being hailed as the source of all physical life, the serpent as the source of all spiritual life.  The serpent, however, was certainly not the source of spiritual life, for the Bible declares that the serpent was the deceiver of mankind, and so robbed man of his spiritual life.  Aesculapius, the ancient god of medicine, was often represented by a serpent entwining itself around a dead tree trunk, at the side of which springs up a young tree--the palm tree, a symbol of victory and of the restorer of life.

        The ancients claimed that God works by mathematics.  Their religion was a conglomeration of religion, astrology, alchemy, physical and mental science, and mathematics.  Ancient astrology divided the starry heavens into 36 constellations.  These were represented by different amulets [pendants], called "Sigilla Solis," or the sun seal.  These amulets were worn by the pagan priests, and they contained all the numbers from 1 to 36.

        By these figures they claimed to be able to foretell future events.  These amulets were usually made of gold, yellow being the sun color. While being carried, these amulets were wrapped in yellow silk, as it was thought that the bearer would thus receive the beneficent powers believed to emanate from the jewel. Amulets reveal the veneration the ancients had for the sun-god.  On the front side was seen the god of the sun standing on the lion.  This indicated the sun's position in the constellation of Leo during the hot days of August.  On the back was inscribed "Nachyel," meaning "intelligence of the sun," and in 36 squares are arranged the numerals 1 to 36 in such a way that adding the numbers of any column either horizontally or vertically, and also the two diagonals crossing the square, the total is the same - 111.   The sum of the six columns, computed either horizontally or vertically, was 6 x 111, or 666.

        There were also solar seals, but it honors the star Basilisco, which was the diminutive form of the Greek basileus (king),  thus meaning  the  same as the Latin regulus.  Now, Regulus is the only first-magnitude star in the constellation of Leo.  The sun and the moon could again clearly seen on this amulet, and on the reverse side was the same arrangement of numerals, with the actual figure given of the total, 666.  After the empire of Babylon fell, the whole system of Egyptian and Babylonian mythology was transferred to Pergamos in Asia Minor.   Later it was brought over to the city of Rome.

        No wonder the Lord, writing to the church in Pergamos, said, "I know thy works, and where thou dwellest, even where Satan's seat is" Revelation 2:13. The corrupting system of idolatry through which the church departed from the faith is called by Paul "the mystery of iniquity" (2 Thess. 2:7), and by John, "Mystery, Babylon the Great" (Rev. 17:5).   Already working in the days of the apostles, the  full revelation of this apostasy was yet to be revealed.

        The  Babylonian  mysteries,  always shrouded in secrecy,  have from the most  ancient  times challenged God's truth.  Paul speaks of "the unfruitful works of darkness," declaring  that  "it is a shame even to speak of those things which are done of  them in secret."  Ephesians 5:11,12.

        Such was the hold that this idolatry had on the people, that God's own people the Hebrews, almost from the time they left Egypt, continually went awhoring after the ancients gods such as Baal and Astorath. Time and again God allowed them to be captured and go into slavery.  Then they repented, He would deliver them.  They never learned and ended up crucifying their Messiah.

        When the Son of God was nailed to a cross it seemed as if evil had  triumphed.  But our Lord "endured the cross, despising the shame"  (Hebrews 12:2), the cross being the symbol of this shameful cult.  This mystery-god is mentioned by Plutarch as "the hidden god,"  (De Isaide et  Osiride, vol. Z, p. 54) and by others as "the hidden system" worshiped under the  name "Saturn," which means "to lie hid."  In the Chaldaic or Aramaic it is spelled  "S-T-U-R."  Chambers, in his Book of Days, speaks of "the festival of St. Satur, the martyr."   This "hidden system" of shame and apostasy invaded the church in the early centuries, and has left its trail of corruption on every succeeding generation.  The true God is not "hidden;" He is revealed in Jesus Christ.  Now let us note the significance of the letters STUR:

        S=200, T=60, U=400, R=6.  This was The Hidden God of Babylonia in the Aramaic Language.

        When this system was established in Rome,  "City of the Seven Hills"   [Rev. 17:9], Italy became the land of the mystery cults and was for centuries known as  "Saturnian Land," or the "Land of Mystery."   Saturn was also identical with Janus, the Grand Mediator and Opener and Shutter.   And the high priests of paganism were invested with the keys of Janus and Cybele.

CHRISTIANITY CHALLENGES PAGANISM

        When the Christian church began, the simplicity of the apostolic message was a strange contrast from the elaborate system of pagan mysteries.   That a sinner could come directly into the presence of God and find salvation without the mediation of a whole system of priests and incantations seemed almost too good to be true.  That simple message produced a purity of life.  Men were different.   They acted differently; there was a joy and peace which could not be gainsaid.

        Paul spoke of "the mystery of godliness"  (1 Timothy 3:16), which embraced the incarnation of our Lord, His blameless life, His ascension, and His ministry at the throne of Deity.  What a contrast with the "mystery of iniquity!" 2 Thessalonians 2:7. Apart from the gospel of Christ, men could not have victory over sin.  The Christian message was a call out of the darkness of the whole system of pagan mysteries.   "Have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness," wrote Paul, "for it is a shame even to speak of those things which are done of them in secret."  Ephesians 5:11,12.   And that was all too tragically true.  The secret mysteries were often a cloak for debasing immorality. The apostles, foreseeing that the pagan system would corrupt the simplicity of the gospel, warned the leaders of the churches.  But little by little, despite their warnings, the church suffered "a falling away"  (2 Thessalonians 2:3), and paganism became completely established in the apostate church.   That branch of Christianity, at least, became not "the daughter of Zion," as God's ancient church was called, but, instead, "the daughter of paganism," with headquarters in Rome.

        All the vestments of paganism became a part of the so-called Christian system.   For example, the "keys of St. Peter," found on the papal coat of arms and worn by the pope, the head of the system, are not the keys of St. Peter, but are the modern counterpart of the pagan keys of Janus and Cybele.  Many of the church festivals are pagan, as, for example, the "festival of St. Satur," the martyr, held on the 29th day of March.  See R. Chambers, The book of Days, vol. I, p. 435.

        One of the prayers in the litany of the mass is,  "God HIDDEN, and my Saviour, have mercy upon us," - W. MacGavin, The Protestant, vol. 2, p. 79.  Saturn was the  "hidden god" of paganism.   No wonder God calls the system,  "Mystery, Babylon the Great." Revelation 17:5.  Both the name and the number of his name are significant to the student of Revelation, yet only by the wisdom of God can we know the apostate one designated.  Therefore we seek the guidance of our God as we unfold this divine secret.

        Accepting God's challenge to discover the significance of this number 666, we would be as men searching for the hidden things of God, rather than as children playing with conundrums.  The dignity of the Apocalypse, while demanding our sober search, also demands a diligence that is rarely revealed in commentaries and books written on the Revelation.  This mystic number was given the prophet John by the Holy Spirit, its secret to be revealed to those only who possess the wisdom of God.

        Many names have been suggested through the centuries, some too ridiculous to merit comment.   This has led some to bypass the issue as if it deserved no further thought.  But God says:  "Let him that hath understanding [not the wisdom of the serpent, but the wisdom of God count the number."  As obedient servants we have sought  "the wisdom that is from above"  (James 3:17), and our discoveries lead to some tremendous conclusions.

        The Sacred Language of that church has been for centuries by decree, not Greek or Hebrew, but Latin.   When the pope speaks ex cathedra, he speaks in Latin. Until recently the mass was always said in Latin.  The ancient Greek word for "the Latin-speaking man" is Lateinos, which from very early times has been recognized as the name denoted in Revelation 13:18.  E.B. Elliott, in his Horae Apocalypticae says:   "But that which alone completely answers to every requirement of the sacred enigma, and which I, therefore, fully believe to be the one intended by the Spirit, is Irenaeus' solution." LATEINOS, Fourth ed., vol. 3, p. 233.  (The letter "e" is usually omitted in the more modern spelling of the word, but such authorities as Irenaeus, Hippolytus, Andreas, and others spell it as set forth here.)

        L=30, A=I, T=300, E=5, I=10, N=50, 0=70, S=200.  This means: Latin-speaking man or Latin Church in the Greek Language

        The computation appearing in the following Paragraph is also significant.  The Greek for the Latin Kingdom is HE LATINE BASILEIA, which also numbers 666.

    H=0, E=8,  L==30, A=1, T=300, I=10, N=50, E=8,  B=2, A=1, S=200, I=1, L=30, E=5, I=10, A=1, which totals 666.

        This has the same numerical significance in the Greek. Italy, as previously mentioned, was for a long time known as the "Land of Mystery," or "Saturnian Land."  When the Italian branch of the Christian church pushed its way into the ascendancy and sought control of the church universal, or the Catholic Church, it became the Roman Catholic Church, or the church of Italy.   And it is significant that this name in Greek - ITALIKA EKKLESIA - the "Italian Church" - also counts up to 666.

        I=10, T=300, A=1, L=30, I=10, K=20, A=1.  W=5, K=20, K=20, L=30, E=8, S=200, I=10, A=1, which again adds up to 666.

        The head of the apostate church came into possession of a temporal kingdom when Pepin conferred upon Pope Stephen II the first grant of the Papal States in A.D. 755.  The Roman pontiff then became a temporal sovereign and remained such for eleven centuries.   But he was deprived of these states in 1870 when Italy was united by Garibaldi during the reign of King Victor Emmanuel II.  The pope, however, remained in the Vatican as a self-styled "prisoner" until February 11, 1929, when Mussolini restored to the supreme pontiff a fragment of the former domains, giving him about 180 acres.

        That restoration made him a  "king" again, and the number of his kingdom is 666.  Greek scholars have tested the names of some 400 other kingdoms, not one of which amounts in its number to the precise value of this mystic number - 666.

PAPAL ADMISSIONS

        But 666 is also the number of a man: the representative of the power. Revelation 13:18.  The Roman Catholic Bible, the Douay Version, contains a special footnote on Revelation 13:18 which reads, "The numeral letters of his name shall make up this number."   There are many names and titles assumed by the Roman pontiff, but one of the most significant is VICARIUS FILII DEI, meaning the Vicar of the Son of God.  This title is incorporated in the Canon Law of the Roman Catholic Church.   Beatus Petrus in terris vicarius filii Dei videtur esse constitutus. Decretum Gratiani, pars., dist. 96.

        V=5, I=1, C=100, A=0, R=0, I=1, U=5, S=0.  F=0, I=1, L=50, I=1, I=1.  D=500, E=0, I=1.  The total equaling 666.

        The title "Vicarius Filii Dei...is very common as the title for the Pope."  Dr. J.  Quaston, S.T.D., professor of ancient history and Christian archaeology, School  of Sacred Theology, Catholic University of America, Washington,  D.C., March 5,   1943.  This title was confirmed by a church council, according to Binius, a Roman Catholic dignitary of Cologne. See  Sacrosancta Concilia, vol. I, pp. 1539-1541.  "The title of the Pope of Rome is Vicarius Filii Dei, and if you take the letters of his title which represent Latin numerals [printed in capitals] and add them together, they come to 666" (Our Sunday Visitor, Nov. 15, 1914).

        The title above is particularly significant to our investigation.  But it is to no purpose merely to multiply names and count the numerals. While  many names  have  been  seized  upon through the centuries in an effort  to  interpret  this  prophecy, yet too often it has meant little more than idle speculation. We repeat, the challenge is not to the mathematician as such, or to the philosopher with his worldly wisdom, but to the servant of God who earnestly seeks for "that wisdom that is from above."  James 3:17.

        The Hebrew word ROMITH, which means  "Roman Kingdom," also adds up to "666" when the letters are tallied.  The Catholic system is well identified as one of Satan's kingdoms.  It surely is significant that through all the changing centuries from ancient Babylon to modern Babylon, the power that has corrupted the truth of God is branded with the number 666!  When Babylon is mentioned in God's Word, the number 6 is strangely prominent.

        Nebuchadnezzar's image of gold, for example was 60 cubits high and 6 cubits wide.   And there were 6 different musical instruments in his "band" when the loyal Hebrews refused to worship that symbol of Babylonian greatness described in Daniel 3.   In chapter 4 the "tree" that represented Babylonian power is mentioned just 6 times.  Belshazzar met his doom while praising the gods of "gold,"  "silver," "brass," "iron,"  "wood," and  "stone" - 6 in all (Daniel 5:4).  In the Revelation the name Babylon occurs just 6 times.  In Lucifer's defiance of God in Isaiah 14:13-14, the personal pronoun "I" or "my" is used 6 times.  Also, in the story of the building of the tower of Babel or Babylon, the personal pronoun "us" or "we" is used just 6 times.

        Anciently the Jews believed there was "a doom connected with the number 6, even when it stood alone.  Triple it and you obtain three mysterious sixes following one another, 666; and we have represented a potency of evil than which there can be none greater, a direfulness of fate than which there can be none worse." William Milligan, in The Expositor's Bible, vol. 6, p. 890.

        To the Jew, 6 was the number of unrest or the number of man, who was created on the sixth day; 7 was the number of perfection; and 8 the number of victory.  If a number was tripled, it indicated the eternity of the thing symbolized; for example, 666 meant eternal unrest; 777, eternal perfection; 888, eternal victory.  Thus, he phren, "the natural mind" - 8, 500, 100, 8, 50 - equals 666, the number of perpetual unrest.  (King Solomon found it so in his experience, for his annual income was 666 talents of gold, a fabulous income but wholly unsatisfying to the heart! See 1 Kings 10:14; Ecclesiastes 2:8-11,17.)

        Stauros, the "cross" - 6, 1, 400, 100, 70, 200 - equals 777, the number of eternal perfection.  So the apostle Paul found it.  See Galatians 6:14.  Iesous, the divinely given name of Jesus - 10, 8, 200, 70, 400, 200 - equals 888.  And this is the number of endless victory!   The fact that the papal number is identical with the sacred number of the ancient pagan sun god IS significant.

        Against this system of deception, God has spoken in no uncertain language.  He calls it "Babylon," or "confusion."  And His message today is,  "Come out of her, My people."  Revelation 18:1-4.  His true church will be victorious.  They will stand on the sea of glass singing the song of Moses and the Lamb, the song of victory "over the beast, and over his image, and over his mark, and over the number of his name."  Revelation 15:1-4.

        Through a greater Name (Jesus) they have conquered sin, for "there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved." Acts 4:12.  "God hath given Him a name which is above every name:  that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow." Philippians 2:9,10.  All hail the power of Jesus' name!   (Unfolding the Revelation, pp.  125-134, Roy Allen Anderson, Pacific Press Publishing Association, 1974.)

OTHER ANTICHRISTS IDENTIFIED

        When referring to the pope of Rome as an antichrist,  "anti" means "IN PLACE OF Christ."  But it also is used as in todays parlance, which means, "AGAINST Christ."  It is interesting to note that over the hundreds of years since Jesus was on earth, other people have been identified and marked with the number "666" as being against Christ (antichrist).

        The latest example of this is that of the President of the United States Bill Clinton and his wife Hillary, who in every way they reflect the spirit of Antichrist as explained in Revelation 13, and identified with the number of his name, "666."

        Someone discovered that when the names William Jefferson Clinton, and Hillary Rodham Clinton are translated into Hebrew, and then the numerical equivalent of those letters are added up, you guessed it, both name equal 666.

        The   Hebrew for WILLIAM is: vav=6, aleph=1, yod=10,  lamed=30, yod=10, mem=40, which gives a subtotal of  97.

        JEFFERSON  is: yod=10, peh=80, resh=200, samech=60,   num=50, which gives a subtotal of 400.

        CLINTON is: kaph=20, lamed=30, yod=10, nun=50, tet=9, nun=50, which gives a subtotal of 169.  Thus 97 + 400 + 169=666.

        HILLARY is: chet=8, lamed=30, resh=200, yod=10, which gives a subtotal of 248.

        RODHAM is: resh=200, dalet=4, heh=5, mem=40, which subtotals 249.

        CLINTON we already know is 169.  Thus 248 + 249 + 169=666.

OTHER SYMBOLS OF SATAN'S KINGDOM:

        Satan has many other symbols - the sun, moon, pentagram, star, goat's head, etc. - but "666" is the one which brings the final test for God's people, as mentioned by John in the Revelation (Rev. 13:15-18). Giving allegiance to the beast power  (Satan) is culminated and becomes irrevocable when a person receives the number 666 in the forehead or in the hand (Rev. 13:16).

        The number six, as we have just read, has always been the enemy's number since the time of Babylon during the reign of Nimrod, right after the flood.  Six is also the number of man.  The number of the "man of sin" (2 Thess.  2:3) is 666.  This is the beast power and kingdom of spiritual Babylon, as Anderson has shown.  In Secrets of the New Age, released June 1989 by the Review and Herald Publishing Company, author Kenneth R. Wade makes an excellent point in regard to the numbers "6" and "7":

        Through the years students of Scripture have applied this number [666] to various specific individuals or powers.... The Revised Standard Version states that this "is a human number."  Its rendering and that of the NIV are quite literal.  The significance of the number is its human quality. This is the point that one gets from a literal reading of Greek.   To understand the importance of 666 being a human number, you must know something about Biblical numerology.  In the Bible the number 7 signifies perfection, or completeness.  Genesis 1 says that God created the earth in seven days.  At the end of that period this planet was complete and perfect.   Ever after that in the Bible, 7 represented completeness.  The same chapter also tells us that God created humans on the sixth day of Creation week.  Hence the significance of the numeral 6 as a symbol of humanity.  But 6 is one short of 7 - thus, it is just short of perfection.  This means that humans, apart from God, are imperfect.

        The 7th day of Creation week was the day on which God rested and the day He asked all human beings to rest and spend with Him.  The 7th day was the day on which humans found their completeness in God.  Apart from God, humanity's number is only 6 - imperfect.  But with God, humanity's number becomes 7 - perfect. The number 666, then, represents all the frailty and incompleteness of humans apart from God.

        It represents Adam and Eve hiding from God after they ate the fruit of the forbidden tree.  It represents all those who will ultimately be destroyed with Satan because they have separated themselves from God, the life-giver who makes humans complete and perfect.   It represents all those who think they are perfect in and of themselves apart from God.

        Thus, one can receive the number of the beast in any number of ways.   You need not listen to the message of a channel (evil spirit). You need only join the rebellion against God and learn to trust only in yourself to make provision for your future.   It all comes down to a matter of whom you trust.   And that makes it pretty easy to get the number 666, really.

        Unfortunately, few people today really trust God.  If you don't trust God, the only other choices available are Satan, self, and other humans.   Trusting any one of those alternates leads to reception of the number of the beast - the number 666  - mankind's imperfect number.  Secrets of the New Age, pp. 91-93.

THE ONLY WAY TO AVOID RECEIVING THE 666 MARK IS TO BE SEALED BY GOD.

        The only way you can receive the seal of God is by keeping the Sabbath through the Holy Spirit ("worship Him in Spirit and in truth" John 4:24).  As we said before, only the Sabbath (fourth) commandment contains the seal of God  (Ex. 20:8-11).   Here then is seen the great difference between the seal of God, the Sabbath, the seal of the fourth commandment, and the seal of Satan (666).  Although 666 is the number of man, it is much more, for it is the symbol of all the different organizations of Satan's Babylonian empire.  This number is pervasive throughout his various organizations.   Although the pope will be the spiritual leader of the New Age One World government, Rome is just one part, not the whole.

        The international banking system and credit cards use 666 as entering numbers.   Product bar codes use 666.   Upon this number a new cashless society is even now being set up behind the scenes.   The New Age Movement won't move without it.  The number 666 has both spiritual and economic meanings.

666 IS HERE AND EXPANDING:

"666" THE NUMBERS:

        Mary Relfe, Ph.D., in her book,  "The New Money System,"  (U.S.  News and World Report establishes her credibility) has done monumental research and interviewed international bankers of the world.  She has stated, "Your eighteen digital number is now in the giant super-computer of Europe, just outside Brussels, the home of the European Economic Community in Luxembourg, the financial capital of the world.  The first three digits beginning each person's number is 666.  (In America, a person's number would be: 666-110 [USA] the phone area code plus the person's social security number.  This is already installed in certain areas of the USA)."

        Every person in the world who has been issued a birth certificate, has a social security number or is registered with this identity number, is in this super computer.   This computer is known as the "BEAST."   This name is an acronym:  B=Brussels, E=Electronic, A=Accounting, S=Surveillance, T=Terminal.  There are fourteen computerized terminals in the system.  It is interesting to note that the name "beast" applied to this computer, is the same word used in the book of Revelation, but is called a man, not a computer.

        This "beast" in Belgium is not the anti-christ, a satanically controlled dictator, but rather is a system that will used by the beast power to control the economy of the world, as God allows.

UNIVERSAL PRODUCT CODE CONNECTION:

        The symbol of the European Economic Community in Brussels is "666." The symbol of the Tri-lateral Commission is 666.  The symbol of the World Bank is 666.  In a new marking system in which fifty nations are participating, goods are sent around the world at the speed of light.   Every item is marked with the universal product code which includes the number 666.

        This code of lines with which we are all familiar is found on almost all packaged goods in the world.  It uses an eighteen digit number system which identifies the product and its price.  This universal bar code begins with two thin lines which represent the number six (1 thin line equals 3).  This begins the computation of the code as the laser beam strikes it. The lines following the first two lines are then read, telling what the product is, and who manufactured it. In the middle are two more thin lines which begins the computation of the price of the item.  The last two thin lines then shut down the computation of that item.  Are these three sixes just a coincidence?

NO COINCIDENCE:

        It is no coincidence that: 1) The activating numbers of the Universal Product Code are 666. 2) The emblem of the E.C. (the United States of Europe) is 666. 3) The symbol of the World Bank is 666  (VISA cards spell 666).   4) The symbol of the Tri-Lateral commission is 666. 5) The symbol of the New Age Religion is 666.   6) Every person's name in the super computer of Europe is 666. Notice also that there are 6 areas covered by this number 666. It is likewise no coincidence that spiritually the number 666 throughout recorded history has been Satan's number, and then identified by John in revelations as the number of a man.

"666" MANY YEARS IN COMING:

        The universal product code and the 666 number identification system has been coming for many years.   It began "down under" in Australia and New Zealand.  An observer in Perth, Australia reported in 1987 that Prime Minister Bob  Hawk announced a marking system to be initiated in that city.  40,000 Christians rose up and demonstrated with placards reading, "No Mark of the beast!   No 666!   No world government!"   At that time the people were able to prevent it, but not for long, we fear.  Australia's plan is to first collapse their nation's money system.  Next they will issue a plastic card to each consumer, followed shortly by a laser mark, or possibly a microchip implanted in the hand or forehead.   Recently a device has been shown which would painlessly implant a chip invisibly in the neck.

        Henry Kissinger designed this system and calls it  "The New International Economic World Order." Its first goal was to begin placing the mark in the hand and forehead of all in Australia and New Zealand by the end of 1990.   Since at the time of this printing (Spring 2000), this still has not happened, it shows that it is not yet in God's timetable, to which men and demons must always bow.   Nothing can take place until God allows.

        New Zealanders and Australians were chosen several years ago to test this new system, to see how it can be implemeted and accepted by the people.  They have been conditioned now for several years to cooperate with 666 when it is finally enforced by favorable pictures and articles in the newspapers, while in New Zealand they have been conditioned for the 666 mark in the forehead.

        Barry Smith, a popular minister of the gospel in Australia for over 25 years, has written about the development of this system in a publication entitled, The Global 2000 Report.  In it he lists several problems which will arise after the plastic card system is adopted, and cause it to be temporary.   Plastic cards can be lost, stolen, used by others, or broken.   Information can be erased from the magnetic strip.   Card numbers can be taken from carbon copies of store receipts, and if personal identification numbers (PIN's) are required, they can be forgotten or found in wallets by thieves.   Reasons such as these will necessitate the cards being replaced by the marking system.

        One of Pastor Smith's 1990 articles reported that a close friend of his had been given work in an ultra-elite hotel in Sidney.  During the first day of orientation for about 30 new workers, the guide, a beautiful young woman, took them to a room marked "Top Security Room."   A guard with a bayonette said,  "You cannot enter this room."   The young lady said,  "Don't mind him," brushed him aside, and the group went in. Smith's friend saw a female dummy and a man with a laser gun.  He was placing rectangular laser dots on the forehead and hand of the dummy. A sign above the dummy declared, "This is secure, safe, irresistible, and is irrevocable."

        A member of the Episcopal church told Smith that he used to laugh at him, but he is not laughing any longer.  He had been called to a meeting entitled "Born Again Christians," which was attended by some of the leading government officials in Australia.  The discussion centered around the opposition of Christians to the monetary changes and the laser mark.   It was brought out that the only ones who are in opposition to this Global 2000 plan are born again believers.   They said, "Christians have it all written up in their Bibles and they are a thorn in our flesh.  We are trying to keep it a secret, but they know all about it before we even get started."  Then someone stated that this plan is being tied together with a super computer in Europe.

        Patrick Fisher, a well known computer scientists today and a Christian, has let the world know that every person in the industrial world is in the super computer of Europe.  He has stated that there will be one more plastic card and then an eighteen digit number.  The mark is planned for either the right hand or the forehead of every person on earth.  The movement toward a universal monetary system and a cashless society has been going on for years and is presumed to be progressing at a steady pace, as God allows.

        Their next goal after Australia and New Zealand was to introduce this into the European Common Market as they became a viable community.   The fall of Communism in Europe made this possible for all of Europe.   Next on their agenda is to cause the collapse of Communism in China, which may not be possible.  But at least they are making inroads as China becomes industrialized and capitalist.  Their final plan is to take over the monetary systems of the United States and Canada.

        Dwight Kinman, a pastor who lives in Canby, Oregon, has years past been somewhat an authorities on this subject.   He has followed the development of the monetary system for years, and lectured all over the U.S.A, and been invited to many religious station talk shows.  His life has been threatened several times.  A banker in Medford, Oregon, informed him stating: "All credit cards will funnel down to one card. That card will be VISA, and the first three digits will activate that final card will be 666."   Mr. Kinman in his research has found that the letters "VISA" spelled out in their numerical value of three ancient languages - Roman, Greek, and ancient Babylonian, adds up to 666.  "V" and "I" in Roman numerals are "6."  "S" in Greek is also "6," and "A" in ancient Babylonian is again "6."

        He states that in one of his talks in Tacoma, Washington, a Christian arose in the audience and told him this:  "I work at one of the branches of First Interstate Bank in Tacoma.  We are working overtime on a new system, placing the code numbers 666 in front of every number of every customer in our bank."

        Larry Goshorn, president of Robotics International, is a genius in the science of robotics.  He is a Christian and knows the Word of God.   He says,  "With the coming of the debit system, you'll have a world-wide debit card. If you have a debit card now and would place it in a bank teller machine anywhere in the world, the first three digits 666 would activate your card and instantly tie you in with "The Beast," the super-computer of Europe.

        First Interstate Bank which is now Well Fargo Bank, issued a gold card which is a debit card that will make checking obsolete.  This is also happening in other banks. In the upper right hand corner of some of these VISA cards is the emblem of the phoenix bird etched on a hologram, which is the emblem of the sun god.

        Computerized cash registers are just about universal in the U.S., as is electronic banking.  Patrick Fisher, mentioned before has written a book; The New Money System.   He states that, "Every citizen in the industrial world is in the giant computer of Europe and the machinery is ready now to begin assigning an eighteen digital number to every person on earth.

       We are going to see one more step between now and the rise of a super-world dictator who will control the economy of the entire world." Dr. Emil Gaverluk, Ph.D., president, Caleb Communications, says that the next card will be a universal card. It will be issued to all nations of earth, and the next step beyond that will be a mark in the hand or the forehead.

        A number of years ago on November 7, 1989, 8:40 A.M. the ABC television program,   "Good Morning America" aired the subject:  "Debit Cards."  They announced that thirty five percent of the United States citizens are now using the debit card.  And then for the first time in media history, this announcement was made:   "THIS BRINGS US ONE MORE STEP CLOSER TO THE CASHLESS SOCIETY."

      Dr. Eldman, the chief analyst for the European Economic Community (EEC) stated,  "We are now ready to assign an eighteen digit number to every person in the entire world."  An article in Globescan Magazine for July 20, 1985  stated:   "The world computer  - the new IRS in Martinsburg, West Virginia will contain a profile on each citizen so detailed it will enable the world computer to control the buying and selling of every person on earth.  That's an awesome thought!"

        A young lady from Willamina, Oregon received a check from Mellon Bank in Pittsburg, PA.   On the bottom is printed:  "Cashier, do not cash without the symbol 666 appearing next to the dollar amount."   She called the bank and said,  "I do not understand the 666.  The girl who answered said,  "I'll go and get a definitive answer for you."  She came back after talking with the head of the bank.  The answer she received was,   "It's none of your business!"  The date of the check was April 4, 1990.  No doubt things have been progressing in the last 10 years.

        A lady entered a bank in Salem, Oregon.   She saw a new screen and computer and asked the banker, who was a friend, about it.  He was evasive and tried to dodge the question.  She pinned him down and said,  "What is it capable of doing?"  He said, "I will tell you confidentially.  It is a new innovative device.   When all credit cards are done away with it will pick up a number in the human body."

        At this moment there is, by fantastic development of high-tech science, a plan to place a mark or number in the right hand or forehead of every person in the world.  By DIANE (Direct Information Access Network Europe), every bank on earth is now tied into the super computer of Europe.  By the science of fiber optics, sixteen thousand simultaneous phone conversations can go over one fiber the size of a hair by varying the light waves.

        The super fifth generation bio  (living-artificial life) computer will soon be able to calculate one trillion equations per second.  The plan was to have it ready by 1992.  Whether scientists have accomplished this by now is not known.  The research has already been done by the United States government in Los Alamos, NM, to place a microchip transponder in the human body, which will, via satellite surveillance, tell where you are within ten feet, any place on earth. Canada and the USA are successfully implanting chips in cats and dogs using this I.D. system.  Marin County of California adopted the Infor-Pet I.D. system as far back as April 1989.

        The time is almost here when one man via the super fifth generation bio-computer could have instantaneous surveillance on every person in the world in one half billionth of a second.  The number 666 is here.  The surgically implanted micro-chip or the laser mark in the right hand or forehead, with the pledge to worship Lucifer, seems to provide one criteria for what the Bible calls "the mark of the beast."  An integral part of this plan will be the Sabbath issue.

        THIS IS THE WAY THE SABBATH WILL PROBABLY BE TIED TO ECONOMICS.   ANY PERSON WHO DOES NOT RECEIVE THE   MARK WILL BE UNABLE TO BUY OR SELL.  This is a facit which most Christians have not considered.

        Carol Quigley, professor at Georgetown University, and a member of the powerful Council on Foreign Relations, reveals that the great family banking dynasties are behind the International Monetary Fund, as well as the World Bank.  These are the king makers and nation breakers.  Their goal is a global central bank.  It is a fact that the world super bank has already been formed.

        Among the people who were involved in its formation were David Rockefeller, Edmund De Rothschild (the man who set the gold standard for the entire world, and who recently died), and James Baker who was the former Secretary of State.  David Rockefeller said of the world super bank, "It will be the financial saviour of mankind."  In January of 1992 the nations of Europe became the United States of Europe.

        The next step for them was to change over to one currency, the Euro dollar, with which they are having some trouble.  This is the Roman empire revived - 320 million people united into the greatest economic, political confederacy of all world history.  At this time, under the code "Global 2000," the invisible laser tatoo mark is planned for the hand or forehead of all the peoples of Europe, and soon after for America and Canada.

        But God is sovereign and ultimately in control.  He is still running history.  He is in charge, and no nation or kingdom, not even Satan, can move until God allows it.  He is waiting for only one thing - the number (144,000) of His kingdom to be made up.  When that happens, the enemy will THEN be allowed to move ahead with his plans.   As of February 2000, it appears 666 and the banking system is still progressing.  What they may be waiting for is some catastrophic events to affect the whole world, like an economic crisis (which appears imminent) or natural disasters as an excuse.

        Maybe God's Spirit has not yet completely withdrawn from this godless world who knows not its maker.  But the equipment to implement this is ready, and we know that it will be used. How will this system be used against the people of God, and how will the Sabbath become an issue?

VISIONS OF THE 666 COMPUTER:

        Since 1988 a Sabbath-keeping Christian lady, has had dreams and visions by the Holy Spirit about last-day events.   God showed her about the mark of the beast, laser imprinting of people, and a cashless society.  The following is her account, written about 1989 or 1990. This is what she said:  "In a revelation, I was frightened on seeing a gigantic computer which had been put in running order, but the Angel assured me of his protection.  I was very upset and afraid, because that huge computer knew everything concerning me, and wanted to kill me.  It spoke to me, saying, "I am going to persecute you; you will be humiliated before me as you belong to the people of God, and you observe the Sabbath, and have God's seal upon you."  The Angel said to me, "Do not approach it because it has a trap in its brain.   It will lead all the people of the world to adopt the international code of 666."   This gigantic computer is the Beast.  "It is the Beast," he repeated to me several times;  "It is the Beast of the Revelation. Its code is the number of a man, 666."

        From then on, my mind was attracted towards all human beings, towards peoples.  I saw their foreheads tattooed (or chip being implanted with a needle) with the number 666.   They were as numerous as the sands on the seashore.  I looked around and saw a little group of people who had remained faithful to Jesus.  It was they who keep the Commandments of God and the Faith of Jesus.   By fear of losing their advantage, all men agreed to be tattooed.   That number was engraved in their flesh and nothing could ever efface it up to and including their descent in the grave.  And I saw that in order to buy and sell, people were no longer using money, but this computer code.   In all the big supermarkets, banks, postal offices, etc., everywhere were computers fitted with the code 666.   All humans were submitted to this code, with a powerful infrared ray which read the contents of the code, thus identifying each individual.

        Everything was being bought or sold by means of this code.   I found myself in a post office to get my mail, in my dream.  All the human beings were tattooed with this code on their forehead.  I trembled, frightened at the sight of all these people who had trodden underfoot the Commandments of God.   I saw that at that precise moment, the plagues were about to swoop down on the impenitent rebels.

        Then, it was that I felt myself to be rejected by society, a reject.  I did not feel like the others.  Christendom was observing only Sunday, and in the face of all those people, I felt I had been set aside.  Then I heard a voice reassuring me, saying, "Do not be afraid; I am watching very carefully over you."  The code 666 is the measure of the Beast, and the measure of Sunday, to such a point that I saw on the forehead of all people, "666 Sunday."

        A fear-inspiring vision passed before my eyes:  I saw a man, tall, whose evil visage nevertheless conserved a certain nobility of features.  His head was bald.  I saw that he was tattooed all over his body with figures of dragons, serpents, and I was impressed when my gaze rested upon his forehead where I saw the number 666 tattooed in big letters, also on his right hand.  The Angel said to me, "It is Satan, the father of lies."  Jesus has said, "Do not cut your flesh.  Let there be no tattooing."  Leviticus 19:28.

        I saw in the dream that by means of a laser ray, marks will be made in the flesh, and that imprint will be marked indelibly in the flesh during the individual's whole existence, up to the death.   I saw all men and women being marked.  All the nations were accepting this system of marking.  The children of God must not have their body tattooed.

        The Angel said to me, "This will be a proof of faithfulness, and also a trap for those who have not let themselves be purified and who have remained unfaithful."  I saw the danger of the bank credit cards in a scene which passed before my eyes.  We are not prepared against all eventualities, and in the event of a world crisis, because we are slumbering.  Neither is the world prepared to affront the great conflicts which are approaching.   For the present moment, there is no danger in using a credit card, [however, a subsequent message of Oct. 1992 said bank cards, such as VISA and Mastercard are now dangerous and should not be used], but a whole process is in being to revolutionize the world. We should try to restrain our use of credit cards.

        The world is progressing with great strides and nobody can stop this rapid evolution.   I saw that the code 666 will be imprinted on each card, providing a number for each owner which will be tattooed in the forehead or in the hand of each individual.   In the dream, I was in a bank, and I politely allowed a person to go before me.   Not knowing what was about to happen, I saw one of the employees of this bank utilize the infrared ray of a computer to read the figure 666 in the hand of the person, as well as other figures.  This system had taken the place of money.  In the bank there was nothing but the computer system.

        This code will revolutionize the world.... Those who have not placed their confidence and faith in Jesus, and who have remained rebels, will use that card that will lead them to take the mark of the beast, which is the number 666.   Here is the Lord's warning, said the Angel to me (Revelation 14:9,10): "If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand, [that is, has himself tattooed by a laser], the same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his   indignation."

        God has put us on our guard against these temptations, and these events which are in the process of maturing and taking shape.  We are seeing the revelation of Revelation 14 of John, soon to materialize and break forth throughout the entire world, before our very eyes.  The Angel said to me, "Do not keep this secret to yourself.  Warn your brothers and sisters of the trap which is going to be sprung upon the whole world."

THE MAASTRICHT TREATY:

        On October 7, 1992, this same lady was shown that the new German MAASTRICHT treaty was the beginning of the implementation of the 666   mark.  This Maastricht Treaty is the working plan for the European Community (EC), a United States of Europe.  The EC became binding in January of 1993.  Sunday laws already exist in the EC.  Germany is pushing for a national Sunday law.  Sunday laws were introduced December 3, 1991, at the Maastricht Treaty meeting with the heads of state.  Already a businessman in France was fined $98,000   for opening on Sunday.

        The border patrol arrested a man because of Sunday laws in Canada. EC violations are filed with the International Court of Justice.  Several months ago this court already had 1,500 cases.  It is not known how many are Sunday law breakers!  EC wants to downplay this until they can capture the whole world.   In the meantime they are making sure that their laws are irreversible, and that buying and selling (economic sanctions) will stop if a country does not cooperate.

        The 10 top ministers in the EC belong to Masonic Lodges and own the world's wealth.  The Maastricht Treaty is simply the ratification of the Treaty of Rome, which has 15,000 laws for every human being on earth.   The World Bank and the International Monetary Fund are closely tied in with the EC and are becoming stronger by the day. The British Parliament voted to accept the Maastricht Treaty, bypassing the will of the population.

        An examination of this treaty reveals a highly sophisticated plan for the unification of Europe at all levels - economic, social, banking, commerce, national parliaments, charitable organizations, protection of animals, heirarchies of Community Acts, the right of access to information, implemention of community law, common, foreign, and security policies, asylum, police cooperation, tourism, and economic and social cohesion.

        So little was known about the treaty that it was published under the title "The Unseen Treaty."  The Parliamentary M.P.'s (members of parliament) found the treaty so difficult to understand that they worked from a simplified version.  The head of the European community is Jacques Delors, who drew up this Treaty in Maastricht, Holland.  He is a dedicated, devout Roman Catholic.  For seventy-five years Rome has sought to establish a Roman Catholic super state in Central Europe.

        Now her dream has well nigh reached fruition.  The unification of Europe is the basic building block of the Papacy for establishing a New World Order. Already other regions are studying the EC as a model for the design of unification in their areas.  A tidal wave is building in Europe which will burst upon America and the rest of the world with fury.  It is the tidal wave of international globalism.

        According to a BBC (British Broadcasting Corporation) documentary entitled, "The New Holy Roman Empire," the legions of Rome are given credit for crumpling the Soviet Union.   Poland is likewise serving as a model for the unification of church and state.  The environment and the economy are smoke screens being used to weld together global union.  Powerful eddies of influence are making it impossible for nations to keep out of unification and yet feel that they can survive economically.

        In a book entitled, Voting Green, a policy proposal called the "Green Platform for 1992" recommended the following:  "Adopt legislation that would require the imposition of strong economic sanctions against countries that break international endangered species, wildlife conservation, and fisheries agreements. Expand the list of products that can be embargoed to include all products of an offending country, not just fisheries products."

        Other quiet movements designed to bring America to its knees have been at work.  Large combines owned and run by monetary powers have been buying out or foreclosing on the small farmer for years. If they control the supply of food they can control the people.  To insure their success, they have gradually been replacing the kind of seed available. Natural seeds have been replaced by hybrid ones which will not reproduce.  Seed gathered from a hybrid crop is sterile.  The prophecies of Revelation are rapidly being fulfilled before our eyes.

CANNOT BUY OR SELL WITHOUT THE MARK

        As John in the Revelation testified (Rev. 13:16-18), no one without the 666 mark will be able to buy or sell. If you do not bow to the demands to worship on Sunday, you will not be given the mark.  Without the mark you will not be able to hold a job, pay living expenses, or even buy gasoline or food. Ridicule and shame, a universal death sentence (decree), and for some, imprisonment will be your only choice.  But do not fear. Your Heavenly Father is with you in all your troubles and will protect you and provide for all your needs.

        The sign of allegiance to 666 will be reverencing the day of the sun (Sunday), which he claims as his own.  Because worshiping on Sunday, rather than the Sabbath, breaks the fourth commandment of God, no true follower of the Lord will compromise and say "I must do this in order to survive."  He will depend totally on Him who is "a friend that sticketh closer than a brother" (Prov. 18:24), and who promised, "I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee" (Heb. 13:5).  On the heels of 666, or more likely conjointly with it, will be the appearance of the cosmic christ and the spread of "The Plan" (which we explain near the end of this book).  These sobering realities should drive all to their knees and to their Bibles, for that is our only safety.
